How to write a COE letter if the company is closed?
How to write an alternative to COE(certificate of employment) if the company is closed down? I’ve been with the company for 5 months and it’s been 2 years since I left the company.I’ve recently visited the 2 stores and both are now gone. My new employer(call center in the philippines) needs my COE, and I wrote to the HR about it being closed. They told me to create a letter, and put the ff. things:
- position held in the company
- tenure
- name of the company
- address and phone number.
They also told me to notarize it. I don’t really know how to write such letter. where can I find a sample letter to copy? or how can I write such letter to be addressed to the HR?
Actually, the HR department of your new employer is asking you to make a sworn statement ( details of your employment with the company that closed ) then have it notarized.
Suggest you ask a lawyer or a notary public to prepare the sworn statement.
