I work in a customer service call center. When you have a problem with your account and call 1-800 or 1-866, or whatever, I'm the one who takes the call and tries to solve your problem. I now have the opportunity to start my job take calls from our customers in Spanish. It's been a while since I had the opportunity to use my Spanish, however, and after a few training days, I realized that I really need the bones on my Spanish listening skills before I tell my boss I can do the accounts in Spanish. The problem is that I do not know anyone here who speaks Spanish. Anyone have any great Spanish language listening practical resources they would be willing to share?
