Call Center Pictures And Images

No TV and high quality on my LCD monitor?

I have a Samsung 23 "2333 monitor connected to my laptop. It has resolution 1900 * 1200. Everything looks great and so are DVD movies. However, when it comes to watching my TV Cable in Vista Media Center, the image quality is very poor relation. I mean, the contrast is low, not so much brightness and sharpness there are no pictures at all. Type very similar to YouTube videos when you watch full screen. The GYM I'll have a little old CRT TV with the signal from the same supplier, but the image quality is more true to what you call a TV. I know this is not the monitor as any the rest is great with her and I also know nothing bad from the provider as well. I strongly suspect the poor quality of video is because of my analog TV tuner be, but I need your help on this. Could produce an image analog tuner so poor that picure be produced by an old TV to CRT?

Read your tuner / manual capture card and see if there is anything you can do to adjust the contrast, the brightness and sharpness. Personally, I did not even bother with tuner cards / capture, because there is no tuner / capture cards that it can decode encrypted QAM cable HD programming, so anything you see from the tuner card is crappy low resolution 480i (except some local HD channels free). Instead, I connect my HD cable set-top box directly to my monitor using a cable DVI-HDMI cable (my monitor is DVI and my HD STB is HDMI). It works perfectly, displaying high-definition 1080i when I watch channels like as Discovery HD, HD CNN, HBO HD, etc. It is almost criminal that you look at the crap low resolution on this beautiful Samsung HD monitor of yours.
