Windows Vista, “security center service can’t be started” error!?
I did a stupid thing and tried to watch a movie online — when I clicked on the player it started downloading something and caused my computer to shut down. I’ve tried restarting it, but I get the message “security center service can’t be started”. The only way I’m able to even get into my computer is in safe mode, which I am in right now. GRR what is this?!
NOTE: I’ve already tried the run Services, Security Center, Startup type automatic but it says it can’t be done in Safe Mode. What do I do? I’ve also ran this thing called Registry Cleanup but it requires me to buy it. What else can I do?
I have also done System Restore, but it won’t work. I have never encountered such a monstrous problem. T_T
Restart computer.On start-up push and keep tapping P8.Until you will see screen with couple options.Choose System Restore.Select a setpoint ,date before trouble date. Launch it.
