Help me I need to with what is using up the memory on my computer!!!!!?
I bought my computer a year ago, I have windows vista and 1GB of memory installed on the computer. Im trying to work at a work at home call center job and they sent a link to run the system check for my computer. I was denied because they told me I need 1GB of Ram on my computer for the vista system to work for them per the system results of the test it was 894mb or somehting like that. What could be decreasing the RAM on my computer, should I just uninstall the programs like Limewire, Yahoo messenger or anything like that for me to regain my RAM? What should I do?
Your video board may be using part of that 1GB, and there’s not much you can do about that.. But 1GB is pretty light for Vista anyhow. I’d invest in at least another gig.
Make sure you get the right type, and find out if you have extra slots or have to replace the memory you already have with larger modules. Also find out if you have to add/replace in pairs or can replace singly.
