Outsourcing United States Jobs Overseas

Will tax breaks for the rich actually stimulate job creation in the US? What jobs would it create?

It has been stated by some that reducing taxes on the rich would stimulate job growth. Most of the jobs are going overseas because that is where the cheaper labor is. So how would that help an average lower class or lower middle class citizen in the United States get a job unless they wanted to move to a country that the rich people are investing in to build manufacturing base there?

And if this happens, the jobs leaving the US, so the corporations can make more money, shouldn’t the average American citizen who is what America has always been about, under the Constitution….shouldn’t they be able to partake in the gains of the corporations that are making this money overseas, through economic stimulus income continually that reflects the money being made by the large corporations for approval of the worldwide trading pacts with this country that is outsourcing our jobs to the profit of the corporations and the detriment of the average American worker?

So where’s the new jobs?

you’re right, it’s a dumb idea. corporations and wealthy individuals getting tax breaks only produces economic activity not jobs. it’s vaguely possible that if those tax breaks were tied to specific goals like raising wages and hiring more employees then it might work, but since they aren’t… we’ve basically got a consumption/service-based economy now and common sense would dictate that the best way to keep things flowing would be to make sure working people have more money to spend. the way it works now, most of those getting the breaks are just giving it to their shareholders or tucking it away in off-shore accounts.
